The Hobbs Group Party!

    We descended on the Clarion Hotel at 8pm one Friday Evening for some pleasant company, food, music, laughter and PRESENTS!  While reading this, please click on each picture if you want to see a larger view and use your BACK key to return here! 

   Susan & Jane passed out the PRESENTS in accordance with the numbers drawn by each person.  Number One, Mace went first!  Heh, it's only a Coleman Day Bed!  If you think nobody wants a Coleman Day Bed, then just read on....

   Maureen opens Raffle Tickets!  Some of us watch as Ron opens snowmen!  Others of us watch as Steve opens the aromatherapy/message Kit.  More of us watch as Steven T decides that the Coleman Instant Bed would be nice and Nina agrees it would fit in nicely!  So, Number One returns for another opening and it's an Element Collection! 

   Dan opens a box of fine Cookies while others of us look on.  Diane's Chex Mix may have a surprise, yes, it's $25 meal tickets to McDonalds! 

   Now, Myrla has to decide how to work her number, and decides on the QuickBed!  Sue and Jane remind Steven T that he gets another opening which is Christmas Ware!  Now Lori has that look in her eye as she is tempted to pass on an Opening after that "Car Kit" she won last year but thinks she can survive another opening anyhow and gets a survival kit consisting of 2 bottles of wine and holder!  Jeff's Jade quickly decides on Myrla's Quickbed.  Myrla has another opening and gets a little Tranquility Water Fountain!

   Bonnie's turn now!  Quickbed!   And now, that leaves Jeff looking at Lori's Survival Wine Kit.  A consultation follows that results in Jeff heading for another opening.  Jeff opens another PRESENT! and gets the cooler tote bag!  Then Laurie gets "Preferred Stock" folding bed set which Allie requires as a new employee initiation. And that brings Laurie back for another opening and a ride on a street scooter.  And that attracts Steven and Nina's interest.

   Bob takes the "Elements Collection"  candle set.  Now Number One, Mace has to choose another and Bonnie's Quickbed is the prize.  Somehow, that liberates Myrla again for the Quickbed and Number One, Mace up for another opening.

   Laurie's up with an opening while Lori just smiles on.  Laurie gets the Cigars (Godiva Chocolate) and the Stationery Set!  Now, that's the only cigar that should be allowed, right?  And Nancy gets the gumball machine.  Pat looks around for a prize and gets the scooter from Joe's Ellen leaving Joe for another opening and a "Snowman" blanket! 

   Ed's number now, so Eleanor punches him to get Diane's Chex Mix, remember it has the McDonalds meal tickets!  The Quickbed comes up again with Steven T and Nina wanting the Quickbed, but Myrla wants it too!  Now Lori looks around for a replacement to avoid another opening and a possible car maintenance kit like last year, and takes the Snowman blanket from Ellen with smiles!  Joe gets the scooter and as everyone laughs, Dan gets the Quickbed!  Myrla manages to get the Quickbed one more time while Lori looks around for another hit, settling for another opening liberating the Godiva Chocolate and lots of smiles!

   Now the evening wraps up with awards and dancing.  That's Joe thanking everyone for coming and that's Steve thanking everyone and, wearing his new Christmas tie and his Ancient Christmas whale pants making an award to Sue and Myrla, who's leaving in February, and Clarence  dancing.  Maureen gives us a nice Irish folk dance demonstration which was enjoyed by all!
