I would like to contribute three new words to the English language because
it will simplify greatly the awkward constructions now in use today. Also, since English
was not my best subject in school, maybe, just maybe, I can make up for some of my short
comings in the subject.
Anyhow, here are the suggested words. I'll call them
the 3H words because they go together and all begin with the letter H. You can't accept
one without all three, so here they are:
WORD
USAGE
===== =======================
himer
to replace
"him or her" phrase
hiser
to replace
"his or her" phrase
hesh
to replace
"he or she" phrase
Now, see how elegant that is! Awkward phrases are
replaced with nice simple constructions! Try 'em for yourself! You'll see. Just make up
some phrase like "His or her efforts will be recognized." and then try the
replacement: "Hiser efforts will be recognized." There! See how
elegant that is. It works and really cleans up the awkward stuff which has been tiring to
the ears for a long time.
Think about how complex the following would be if spoken the old way:
"Hesh may send hiser love to himer."
